| WIN family pass to Twinlakes Park Falconry Centre A MISCHIEVOUS three-month-old raven knows how to put a few pennies away for a rainy day. Fagin, the roguish raven named so by staff because of his fascination with money, is the latest edition to the Twinlakes Park Falconry Centre, in Melton Mowbray. Fagin has developed a fancy to shiny coins - in particular 50p pieces - and he can charm a coin or two from any young visitor at the park. He’s constantly on the look out for small change. Once spotted he quickly sweeps up the coin in his beak and, pleased with his find, flies off to his trainer hoping to exchange the coin for a tasty treat. Twinlakes falconer Richard James said: “Fagin is like any adolescent - he rarely does as he’s told and is constantly pestering me for money. He’s still very young but full of character.” Visitors to the park have enjoyed the comical performance of Fagin and are more than happy to throw him a penny or two. The cheeky raven is also quite fond of painted toe nails, so for any ladies visiting, a coin in your palm would probably be the least embarrassing option. Twinlakes Park is a unique all-weather family experience combining theme and farm aspects, therefore ensuring the ultimate family day out. With 70 acres of exciting and thrill-seeking attractions, including over 125,000 sq ft of exclusive indoor adventure zones, every trip is a fun-filled one. There’s something for everyone at one all-inclusive price of £9.49 each. Twinlakes Park opens at 10am every day of the year except for December 24,25,26 and 27.
